There are many restaurants opening in Georgetown KY at the end of the 2025 year, including Crumbl Cookie, Wawa, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Dutch Bros. Georgetown is a growing city, due to its rising population and proximity to Lexington, that attracts a large number of businesses.
These businesses are currently hiring for part time and full time positions. Each of these positions require employees to be over the age of 16, but prior experience in the workplace is not required. These positions can be beneficial to Work Experience Learning (WEL) students, who need hours of work to continue the program.
Senior at Great Crossing High School Sydney Wilder has gotten a position as a Broista at Dutch Bros Coffee. Wilder stated, “I have done my training at their Lexington location. I enjoy the job so far; all my coworkers are super nice and friendly!” Dutch Bros plans to open late September at the former O’Charley’s on South Jefferson Avenue.
Avrie Edmondson, a junior at Scott County High School said, “I interviewed at Crumbl Cookie and got the job. The building has been in construction for quite some time now but the progress is great! It should be opening late September to early October.” Crumbl Cookie will be opening at 100 Ikebana Path.
Positions are limited, and students seeking employment opportunities can find current open positions through the business websites.
